We’re looking for a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) who’s ready to take the lead on complex, high‑impact projects in the midstream natural gas industry. As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll design and engineer natural gas piping systems and compressor/metering stations that keep energy moving safely and reliably across the country—all while working 100% remotely.

What You’ll DoLead from Concept to CompletionOwn mechanical engineering scope across the full project lifecycle—from early feasibility through construction support and closeout.Design with Purpose and PrecisionDevelop calculations, specifications, and drawings that meet industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements for pipeline and facilities projects.Be a Technical LeaderProvide mentorship and technical direction to junior engineers and designers, elevating team performance and engineering quality.Drive Project SuccessPartner closely with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to define scope, manage schedules and budgets, and resolve technical challenges.Manage Risk & ReliabilityPerform feasibility studies, decommissioning evaluations, and risk assessments to ensure safe, compliant designs.Interface with Vendors & ClientsReview vendor proposals and technical submittals, respond to technical inquiries, and support approvals with clients and regulatory agencies.Collaborate & InnovateParticipate in design reviews, HAZOP/HAZID sessions, and project meetings to continuously improve safety, quality, and efficiency.What You BringProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)8+ years of mechanical or project engineering experience in the oil & gas industryStrong experience with pipeline facilities, compressor stations, and metering stationsProficiency with SolidWorks, Inventor, CADWorx, P&ID, and Navisworks

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Houston, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $85.00/hr.
