As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll design and engineer natural gas piping systems and compressor/metering stations that keep energy moving safely and reliably across the country—all while working 100% remotely. If you enjoy owning technical decisions, mentoring others, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on real‑world infrastructure projects, this role was built for you What You’ll Do + Lead from Concept to Completion + Own mechanical engineering scope across the full project lifecycle—from early feasibility through construction support and closeout. + Design with Purpose and Precision + Develop calculations, specifications, and drawings that meet industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements for pipeline and facilities projects. + Be a Technical Leader + Provide mentorship and technical direction to junior engineers and designers, elevating team performance and engineering quality. + Drive Project Success + Partner closely with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to define scope, manage schedules and budgets, and resolve technical challenges. + Manage Risk & Reliability + Perform feasibility studies, decommissioning evaluations, and risk assessments to ensure safe, compliant designs. + Interface with Vendors & Clients + Review vendor proposals and technical submittals, respond to technical inquiries, and support approvals with clients and regulatory agencies. + Collaborate & Innovate + Participate in design reviews, HAZOP/HAZID sessions, and project meetings to continuously improve safety, quality, and efficiency. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $85.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
