We are hiring a Senior Material Handler at our facility in Jacksonville - FL. The Senior Material Handler will be working closely with the Production Controllers and the Warehouse Lead and be under the supervision of the Materials Supervisor to bring essential naval products to life.

Work Shift: First Shift, 5 x 8 (Monday – Thursday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, And Friday 5:00 am – 1:30 pm)

What You Will Do

Enter and process material requests and transactions into SAP

Package and prepare materials for shipment in accordance with shipping and packing best practices. Perform shipping-related activities, including packing, labeling, and staging of material

Support inbound and outbound material flow to enable on-time delivery to internal and external customers

Perform work requiring standing and walking for the duration of the shift

Ensure proper storage, handling, and documentation of all materials

Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits

Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse and material operations

Weekend (Saturday) commitment is occasionally required to meet customer needs

Lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds on a recurring basis

Adheres to and participates in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others

Qualifications You Must Have

HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Experience in using Forklift.

Experience in Inventory management and material operations.

Qualifications We Prefer

Minimum one-year Basic SAP experience and/or other ERP systems.

High attention to detail and accuracy

Solid understanding of inventory balances, usage, and scrap

Proficiency with computer-based software, specifically Microsoft Office

Experience in packing and/or shipping.

Manufacturing industry experience

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
