Insight Global is looking for a Marketo Expert to support one of our clients that is undergoing a significant GTM Technology transformation with an AI-first approach. We're looking for a highly technical Senior Marketo Expert to join our team in Western Europe (ideally Spain). This role is critical to re-engineering our Marketo-to-Salesforce integration, addressing technical debt within our lead management infrastructure, and building scalable data bridges with our Data Warehouse. You will define the standards for how data flows into our marketing engine to ensure we scale efficiently. You will work closely with East Coast teams, requiring flexibility in your hours.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Marketo Expert to serve as the technical backbone of our marketing automation ecosystem. This role is dedicated to moving beyond standard campaign execution to focus on the "plumbing"—building robust integrations, re-building lead management workflows, and operationalizing complex data streams from our Data Warehouse. The ideal candidate lives at the intersection of Marketing Operations and Systems Engineering, with a deep understanding of how to manage high-volume data syncs without compromising platform performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Advanced Integration Management: Design and maintain the native Marketo-SFDC connector and develop custom API-based integrations with our Data Warehouse and other GTM platforms.
• Lead Management Re-engineering: Audit and re-work core lifecycle programs, including lead scoring, routing logic, and data normalization, to eliminate technical debt.
• Platform Health & Performance: Implement advanced monitoring for API limits, sync backlogs, and jammed workflows to ensure 99.9% reliability of the GTM engine.
• Cross-Functional Architecture: Collaborate with Data Engineers and Salesforce Admins to ensure a "Single Source of Truth" across the entire lead-to-revenue lifecycle.
Technical Documentation: Maintain clear specifications for integration maps, lead flow logic, and system architecture.

Skills and Requirements
Required Qualifications
• Marketo Certified Expert (MCE): Proven experience managing enterprise-level Marketo instances.
• Integration Specialist: Extensive experience managing the native Marketo-SFDC sync and troubleshooting complex synchronization errors.
• DWH & API Proficiency: Strong understanding of REST/Bulk APIs and experience working with Data Warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) to power marketing automation.
• Strategic Systems Thinking: The ability to look at a 20+ million record environment and design filters/logic that maintain speed and data integrity.
Nice-to-Have
• Workato/Middleware Experience: Familiarity with orchestration tools to manage multi-platform automation.
• AI-Driven Marketing: Exposure to leveraging AI for predictive scoring or automated content personalization.
Salesforce Admin Knowledge: Understanding of SFDC objects, flows, and APEX logic as they relate to marketing data.
