Senior Marketing Communications Manager (Content Marketing)

The TELUS Health Payor Marketing team supports technology enabling solutions across the public and private healthcare payor markets.  Our suite of solutions include claim processing and adjudication platforms for drug, dental and extended health benefit claims, benefits selection, digital citizen/member navigation platforms and custom solutions for large complex deals. As the Senior Marketing Manager (Content Marketing) you will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies targeting both private and public sector B2B customers, managing integrated marketing campaigns, and driving market awareness for our healthcare solutions portfolio.

What you’ll do

 

Develop impactful value proposition and messaging playbook to effectively position TELUS Health solutions to public and private sector clients

Enhance the content marketing strategy for our health benefits management portfolio of products

Develop thought leadership strategy for speaking opportunities industry events, including the TELUS Health Annual Conference 

Manage and maintain editorial calendar to ensure consistent content delivery

Create and distribute timely and relevant thought leadership pieces, including whitepapers, articles and newsletters, that resonate with their intended audience 

Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop technical content

Build strong relationships and interlock with product and sales to ensure cohesive approach to market communications surrounding complex solutions and high profile partnership initiatives

Be prepared for out-of-the-box thinking and trialling different approaches to determine the optimal methods to foster collaboration and drive growth 

 

What you bring 

 

Post-secondary degree in relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on the public and private payor market

Proven track record in content marketing, including content strategy and editorial calendar management 

Knowledge of Canadian healthcare environment and current TELUS assets and teams

Ability to take complex subject matter and distill it into easily digestible content

Excellent written communication skills 

Deeply curious with exceptional analytical abilities and understand the importance of using data to make informed decisions about optimizing content and campaigns 

Experience with content management systems and marketing automation platforms

Strong initiative to naturally drive and collaborate on projects from start to finish in a strategic manner, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and initiatives at once

A growth mindset and feel highly comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment, facilitating cross-functional teams to bring marketing initiatives and campaigns to life

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.
