Legends manages all operations across ticketing, special events, sponsorship food and beverage and retail for Attractions partners.  

VIEW BOSTON

View Boston, which encompasses the top three floors of the Prudential Tower, will feature immersive experiential exhibits and a bistro on the 50th floor, an indoor/outdoor cocktail lounge with a 360-degree outdoor viewing deck on the 51st floor, and a double high (24-foot) indoor viewing space on the 52nd floor. THE ROLE   

The Senior Marketing Associate will develop and implement marketing strategies to promote View Boston in partnership with the Director of Marketing. This role supports promotional marketing initiatives for the attraction with a focus on public relations, social marketing, and consumer programming. This role serves as a liaison between Legends and BXP to ensure cohesive planning, execution, and promotion of the annual programming calendar.  

  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Local Partnerships & Promotions  

Identifies opportunities for local partnerships and campaigns that capture various target markets  

Leads the development and execution of local partnerships with Boston-area colleges, attractions, restaurants, and organizations  

Identifies opportunities to capitalize on in-market entertainment, sports, and cultural events  

Recommends ticketing strategies to capture audiences in-market for city-wide events  

 

Promotional Marketing Support 

Supports all promotional marketing initiatives for the attraction, including public relations and social media efforts 

Assists with promotion of: 

Seasonal exhibits and shows 

Signature attraction programming and pop-up brand activations 

New ticketing promotions 

Private events and group sales programs 

  

Event & Programming Coordination 

Acts as liaison between Legends and the BXP Marketing team in the planning and execution of the annual programming calendar 

Attends EO meetings alongside BXP event representatives

Provides onsite event support as the Legends marketing representative, including: 

Greeting media and influencers

Coordinating photographers, videographers, and social media coverage 

Supporting additional event needs as assigned

Participates in Legends/BXP post-event recap meetings 

Contributes to post-event recap reporting, summarizing successes, KPIs, and opportunities for improvement 

  

Public Relations & Social Media Support 

Supports the Marketing Director (MD) across all PR and social marketing initiatives 

Attends regular (weekly) PR and social media strategy calls with agency partners 

In partnership with the MD and agency teams, helps develop strategic PR and social media plans to support promotions and events 

Reviews monthly social media content calendars to ensure consistent, proactive promotion of the attraction and its programming 

Develops monthly social media calendar for LinkedIn, Google Business, YouTube, and Pinterest

Reviews and edits attraction press releases, coordinating Legends and BXP approvals 

Coordinates media and journalist site visits in partnership with the MD, Meet Boston, and relevant publications 

  

Administrative & Reporting Support 

Supports the Marketing Director in the development of monthly and quarterly business reports Assists with tracking and summarizing progress against goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) Helps maintain marketing calendars, timelines, and reporting dashboards Coordinates inbound ticket donation requests with approval from MD Coordinates vendor payments with finance team 

​QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred. Relevant coursework or certifications in marketing can enhance qualifications.  

2-3 years of previous experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field preferred. A foundational understanding of marketing principles is crucial. 

Experience in the hospitality, tourism, live entertainment, sports industry, or other ticket selling industries. 

Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, content creation, and a basic knowledge of SEO.  

Strong creative skills to conceptualize and develop engaging marketing content, campaigns, and promotional materials that effectively capture the target audience’s attention.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for creating compelling marketing messages, collaborating with internal teams, and interacting with external stakeholders.  

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize deadlines, and coordinate various aspects of marketing campaigns and events.  

A good grasp of data analysis to measure campaign performance, interpret metrics, and make a data-driven decisions to optimize marketing strategies. 

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, food & beverage, IT, and external partners.  

Precision in managing branding consistency, reviewing marketing materials, and ensuring accuracy in all communications to maintain a professional image.
