In this role, you will translate complex financial data into clear compelling reports and strategies that empower leadership to make better decisions and accelerate execution of Front Store initiatives. As the Senior Manager, Analysis & Planning you will leverage your ability to influence without authority to drive strategic planning build streamlined narratives that support and influence decision-makers while being outstanding at managing the transformation from A to Z. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, strategic planning, developing essential processes for cross-functional connectivity, and leadership within the retail industry. To be successful, you will need to leverage active listening to clearly understand pain points, or points within the Merchandising organization where there is significant variability, to drive analyses that benefit the majority. In this role, building a strong network of fast, trusted, and credible relationships within Merchandising, Finance, Digital, Analytics, Marketing and Supply Chain will be the unlock for creating measurable change that impacts both our colleagues and our consumers in a favorable way. **Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:** _Delivers Results_ + Leverages data, insights, and analytics to make actionable recommendations and influence stakeholders + Proactively deliver financial reporting support to various departments, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives + Monitors and analyzes key financial metrics, identifying trends, risk, and opportunities for improvement both in-year and outer year _Strategic Planning_ + Develop, refine, and maintain flexible processes to address emergent business challenges, ensuring agility and alignment with priorities. + Evaluates strategic initiatives and KPI performance that align to our strategy + Navigates ambiguity and change to achieve goals, assigning appropriate timelines and accountabilities to empower team execution. _Stakeholder Influence and Change Management_ + Act as a change agent, embracing and driving organizational improvement initiatives across teams and departments + Overcome implementation barriers by proactively identifying solutions and fostering collaboration + Leverages a results-oriented mindset, using metrics to monitor improvements + Builds trusted relationships through collaboration between different departments to promote a cohesive and integrated approach to achieving organizational goals. + Influences at all levels – up to and including cross-functional SVPs. Champions innovation by bringing ideas to own VP & SVP as well as broader Merchandising Leadership in an agile way, while balancing growth with financial risk & incremental cost to organization + _Culture Talent Development_ + Cultivate robust relationships with senior internal leaders, retail partners, and key external stakeholders to foster collaborative strategy development + Foster a culture of inclusion, well-being, and high performance by setting clear goals and expectations + Provide leadership guidance, direction, & support to teams and departments to ensure smooth operations & optimal performance. **Required Qualifications** + 5+ years’ experience in Finance, Planning or building financial models + 5+ years of demonstrated successful leadership experience in a highly competitive environment. Relevant sectors include retail, finance, consulting, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals. + 5+ years’ track record influencing others with & without authority + 5+ years’ experience understanding and breaking down highly complex situations to deliver impactful solutions in real time. + 5+ years’ experience effectively demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills; very strong interpersonal and presentation skills + 5+ years’ experience in merchandising environment, or in other like external business models + Expertise leveraging MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities **Preferred Qualifications** + 8+ years’ experience in the above + 5+ years’ experience demonstrating ability to lead a large team & manage million-dollar business unit to achieve financial/business results. + 5+ years’ experience collaborating effectively across different business functions, perspectives, and styles of leadership. + Business development and/or Consulting experience **Education** **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $82,940.00 - $182,549.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
