Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager, Insurance RTR (Close Control, Reconciliations)
Responsibilities:
·Strategic financial oversight: Lead the strategic management of financial data collection and organization, ensuring accuracy and completeness for comprehensive reporting.
·Journal entry management: Oversee the preparation and posting of complex journal entries related to financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
·Advanced reconciliation leadership: Direct the reconciliation of general ledger accounts, promptly identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.
·Comprehensive reporting: Manage the preparation of detailed financial reports, providing insights for executive decision-making and strategic planning.
·Audit collaboration: Coordinate with internal and external auditors by providing necessary documentation and information related to financial records and transactions.
·Regulatory compliance assurance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls related to record-keeping and financial reporting.
·Process innovation: Identify and implement innovative initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of record keeping and financial reporting processes.

Minimum Qualifications:
·CA / CPA / M-Com / B-Com or Graduate in Finance
·Relevant years of experience in managing Insurance RTR processes
·Experience in working with an insurance client

Preferred Skill Set:
·Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
·Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
·Experience with accounting software, like SAP, Blackline, etc.
·Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
·Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues to senior management
·Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
·Self-starter, with ability to work under own initiative
·Strong time management skills
·Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
