Senior Manager Program Management

Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Job summary:** The Fuel Systems Project Success Manager will lead projects and assignments supporting the Fuel Systems multi-generational product, manufacturing, and sourcing strategies. These strategies include the continuous improvement and investment in core manufacturing processes as well as leveraging our Caterpillar and Supply Base partners for non-core processes and supply assurance. Project leadership and execution will be accomplished by strong collaboration, applying critical/analytical thinking, and leveraging subject matter expertise in manufacturing/assembly processes and global trends to identify and implement solutions. This responsibility is critical to ensure competitive and sustainable solutions for Fuel Systems products. This role reports to the Fuel Systems Product Manager **What you will do:** + Manage the execution of the Fuel Systems multi-generational manufacturing and sourcing strategy including project definition and leadership + Ensure strategic project alignment with broader business initiatives + Develop strategic partners in both Direct and Indirect supply bases + Coordinate support activities with Fuel Systems product engineering, operations, suppliers, and enterprise partners. Leading the liaison activities with cross-enterprise partners **Skills you must have:** + **Budgeting:** Extensive knowledge of organization's budget process; ability to apply policies and practices for planning and administering a budget. + **Conflict Management:** Extensive knowledge of managing conflicts; ability to anticipate, recognize, and deal effectively with existing or potential conflicts at the individual, group, or situation level. + **Decision Making and Critical Thinking:** Extensive knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. + **Influencing:** Extensive knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization. + **Alignment:** Extensive knowledge of the importance of collaboration among team members and the ability to enroll stakeholders in communicating and coordinating activities to support the organization's vision and strategies. + **Cross-Team Integration:** Extensive understanding of the importance of inter-team collaboration in breaking down silos and achieving business results; ability to lead employees from various functions to communicate, coordinate work across divisions, and collaborate in solving problems as one team. + **Goal Setting:** Extensive knowledge of the value of creating goals that stretch the teams' capabilities; ability to develop and track challenging goals that support business strategies. + **Planning and Organizing:** Extensive knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way. + **Education:** Bachelor Of Science degree in an Engineering curriculum **Top candidates will also have:** + Demonstrated achievement in direct or indirect leadership roles focused on manufacturing, product development, or other engineering leadership roles + Demonstrated ability to collaborate and develop partnerships internally and externally + Demonstrated experience in Lean principles; including: material flow, waste elimination, labor utilization, etc… + Working knowledge of heat treat, precision machining and grinding, assembly and test processes **What you will get:** + **A commitment to diversity and inclusion** .
