Role Description

The Production Manager guides and coordinates all the production activities of the plant dedicated to the production of hydraulic hoses and assemblies. It guarantees the achievement of safety, quality, efficiency and customer service objectives, ensuring compliance with working standards.
The role has a strong responsibility in ensuring strict compliance with safety, quality and regulatory compliance standards, promoting an operational culture oriented towards prevention, process reliability and customer satisfaction.

Main responsibilities
Operational Management
Plan, organize and supervise production activities on the hose manufacturing and hose assembly production departments
Ensure compliance with production plans in terms of volumes, times and costs.
Manage and Monitor production KPIs (OEE, waste, efficiency, downtime, lead time).
Collaborate with maintenance to ensure the efficiency and safety of equipment and systems.

Safety and Quality
Promote a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with EHS regulations and company procedures.
Ensure continuous training of personnel on procedures, PPE, ergonomics and emergency management.
Promote a safety culture based on individual responsibility, proactive reporting and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with the quality standards required by the industry.
Collaborate with the Quality Department for the management of non-conformities, root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive plans (CAPA).
Constantly monitor quality indicators (rejection, defects, customer complaints) and guide error reduction initiatives.

Leadership and Personnel Management
Manage and develop production teams (Section Managers, team leaders, operators)
Plan shifts, training, performance evaluations and growth paths.
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented climate.

Continuous Improvement
Support Manufacturing Engineering in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing projects (5S, Kaizen, SMED, VSM) and work on the optimization of processes, layouts and production flows to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Collaborate with process engineering and industrialization for the introduction of new products or technologies.

Cross-functional coordination
Interfacing with EHS, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, HR and Finance
Support management in the development of production strategies and investments.
Participate in global meetings with the parent company and other plants of the group.

Role Requirements
- Education and Experience
Experience in industrial fields and in a resource management and production department management role of at least 5 years 
Specific training in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is preferred.
Knowledge of the production processes of hydraulic hoses, rubber, fittings and assembly
Data analysis and KPI management skills.
Fluent English
