We are seeking a talented individual to join our Data Analytics & Insight team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:
Develop an understanding of our business and business rules/logic which will be applied to the data through Workday trainings and interaction with the stakeholders.Gather, analyze, and model data using analytical tools and techniques to develop business insights to drive decisions.Develop dynamic dashboards that provide insights and visualization into performance relative to KPIs, projections, and historical performance.Identify opportunities which add value to the business and make the process more efficient.Use technical skills to gather and work with large volumes of data using the most suitable technology.Have the ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders across levels, understand business objectives and make sure all analysis and findings are aligned to those business objectives.Institutionalize data quality check mechanisms in the data gathering and analysis phases.Develop scalable solutions for automations of reports.Use text analysis to iterate through the policy documents and classify their favorability, sentiment, themes, etc.Create automated data pipelines from multiple sources and generate insights through descriptive analysis that can help in understanding retention, claim, churn, new opportunity, etc.Analyze competitors and peers in depth to create benchmark reports and trend analysis.Identify new business opportunities and consult the business stakeholders on how they can expand their businessSupport strategic decision making by providing actionable recommendations based on data analysis and adding value to the business by providing recommendations.Ability to lead initiatives and deliver results by engaging with cross-functional teams and resolving data ambiguity issues.Be a player – coach when the role demands leveraging more resources for large tasks/projects.Be responsible for the professional development of your reports and institute a succession plan.What you need to have:
MBA or a Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Applications, IT, Business Analytics, or any discipline.Experience of 8-12 years in data Analytics, data visualization, BusinessExperience in developing large-scale self-service reporting tool tailored for the business stakeholders.Proven ability to collaborate effectively across business function and advice on BI, Analytics and Data science opportunities.Ability to present analysis to the senior stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.Strong solution development mindset and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.Knowledge and interest in working with analytical tools like python and R.Demonstrate experience in writing intermediate to advanced SQL queries for data extraction.Possess data visualization abilities and experience with data visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau or Qlik Sense to effectively communicate insights from data.Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets.Effective communication skills to present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Superior listening, verbal and written communication skillsSuperlative stakeholder management skills – ability to positively influence stakeholders.Knowledge of statistical concepts and their application in data analysis.Ability to analyze the data to generate insights and present the insights in business forums.Synthesis skills- Ability to connect the dots and answer the business question.Excellent problem-solving, structuring and critical-thinking skills.Excellent project management and organization skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Eligibility
Minimum 12 months experience as Manager (Level D2) / Senior Manager (Level E)Should have at least “On-Track” or equivalent rating in last appraisal.Should not be under any Performance Counselling Plan or had any official disciplinary action within the last 3 months.Should not have applied for any other IJP in the last 3 months
