About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Manager - Business Development (US) to lead our business growth initiatives and drive revenue for Zycus’ SaaS-based procurement software solutions. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on business development responsibilities, requiring a strong leader who can drive both personal and team success.The ideal candidate will have proven experience in SaaS enterprise sales, an in-depth understanding of the European market, and the ability to build and scale high-performing teams.Key Responsibilities Lead and Develop the BD Team: Manage, mentor, and coach a team of business development professionals to achieve individual and team revenue goals. Individual Contributor (IC) Responsibilities: Own and drive your own sales targets alongside the team’s goals — identifying, engaging, and closing strategic enterprise opportunities. Strategic Planning: Create and execute business development strategies that support Zycus’ growth objectives in the SaaS procurement software space. Market Expansion: Identify and target new markets, clients, and industry segments within Europe to expand Zycus’ footprint. Partnership Development: Build and nurture alliances and partnerships that enhance Zycus’ market penetration and brand presence. Pipeline & Forecast Management: Oversee lead generation, opportunity tracking, and sales forecasting to ensure predictable revenue outcomes. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align business development initiatives with Zycus’ overall go-to-market strategy. Market Intelligence: Analyze trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and refine strategies. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers across enterprise organizations.
