Senior Manager – Bureau Reporting Strategy & Governance

How will you make an impact in this role?

The Senior Manager, Bureau Reporting Governance is a key leadership role within the Risk Products and Data Strategy team in Credit and Fraud Risk (CFR). This position provides enterprise-level ownership of consumer, commercial, and debit bureau reporting governance, ensuring data quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across outbound reporting processes. The role partners extensively with Compliance, Global Servicing Group, and second- and third-line stakeholders, and plays a critical role in maintaining strong regulatory standing while enabling business growth and customer trust.

This is a highly visible role requiring strategic leadership, strong regulatory acumen, and the ability to influence outcomes across a complex, matrixed organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and end-to-end ownership of consumer, commercial and debit bureau reporting governance, including design, implementation, monitoring, and ongoing enhancement of reporting strategies

Serve as a primary point of contact for U.S. bureau reporting matters with second and third lines of defense, including regulatory exams, audits, and ongoing oversight activities

Identify process gaps and partner with product teams on initiatives to improve reporting accuracy, timeliness, efficiency, and customer outcomes

Assess and provide governance oversight for new product launches and significant product changes, ensuring bureau reporting impacts are identified, documented, and appropriately managed

Influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners by clearly articulating risks, trade-offs, and recommendations grounded in data and regulatory expectations

Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to align bureau reporting practices with enterprise risk management objectives

Act as a thought leader on bureau reporting governance, proactively identifying emerging risks, regulatory trends, and opportunities for continuous improvement

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, analytical, or business-related field (e.g., Business Analytics, MIS, Statistics, or similar); Master’s degree preferred

8+ years of experience in financial services, with deep experience in consumer data, risk management, governance, or regulatory-facing roles

Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with significant regulatory and operational impact

Proven ability to influence and advise senior leaders, including the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and persuasively

Excellent judgment and ability to operate effectively in environments with ambiguity, competing priorities, and evolving regulatory expectations

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of the regulatory landscape impacting consumer bureau reporting, including FCRA, CFPB, and related regulatory bodies

Familiarity with consumer credit bureau reporting standards, industry practices, and dispute resolution requirements

Prior experience engaging with auditors or compliance oversight team

Salary Range: $103,750.00 to $174,750.00 annually + bonus + benefits
