As a Senior Design Operations Manager, you will lead high-impact initiatives that enhance the performance, clarity, and cohesion of our world-class Design organization. You’ll be responsible for building and mentoring design ops practitioners, crafting strategic workflows, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work across the team. You will also be accountable for shaping how design integrates into the broader product development lifecycle, driving operational excellence, and influencing product roadmaps in collaboration with 4ITB partners.You’ll sweep us off our feet if you have…Expertise in design operations, with experience streamlining cross-functional collaboration and driving large-scale initiatives with measurable impact.A track record of mentoring and developing teams while translating organizational goals into clear, tactical priorities.Proven experience managing portfolios of high-quality work while operating at both strategic and tactical levels.An ability to inspire others with a strong point of view, excellent communication skills, and a passion for storytelling through data, design, and results.A deep understanding of how to balance short- and long-term goals, prioritize autonomously, and guide team execution across multiple workstreams.Strong familiarity with design systems, team workflows, and tools that support seamless cross-functional delivery.Experience in building inclusive, high-performing teams and fostering a culture of psychological safety, learning, and continuous improvement.You’ll make an impact by:Leading high-priority initiatives that improve how the Design team operates, collaborates, and delivers value.Facilitating effective, scalable processes that enable clear communication and alignment across disciplines.Driving operational strategies that ensure design work is timely, impactful, and aligned with business goals.Playing a key role in Design leadership forums, bringing a systems-thinking approach and taking on responsibilities beyond your core remit.Guiding the team to make informed tradeoffs using data, research, and partnership collaboration.Identifying knowledge gaps across people, processes, and partners and leading the effort to fill them with insights.Recruiting and mentoring top-tier design operations talent, ensuring a strong and sustainable design org for the future.Preferred qualifications:Degree in Design Operations, Program Management, HCI, Digital Design, or a related field.7+ years of experience in design ops, UX program management, or design leadership roles.A standout portfolio or body of work demonstrating design operations strategies, programs, and outcomes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.Comfort with ambiguity and an ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.Perks and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...

Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 5 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Option 2: 7 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
2 years’ supervisory experience.
