Nutanix (NTNX) is looking for a motivated and results-oriented Senior Manager, Systems Engineering – Central Gulf (Saudi, Bahrain and Qatar) to manage a team of Presales Systems Engineers/Managers as part of the sales organization to achieve revenue targets and ensure customer success. You’ll oversee the development and engagement of Systems Engineers who have responsibility for educating, consulting, assessing, architecting, and proposing Nutanix solutions with technical decision-makers across all business segments. You’ll play an integral role in partnering with the Regional Director/s, sales, product, and engineering teams to bring the maximum value of our Nutanix solutions to market and manage escalations for our customers and partners.
About the Team
Our Systems Engineering & Solution Sales organization is made up of 800+ customer-focused technical sales professionals who are responsible for identifying and matching technology opportunities with the customer’s business issues and objectives, as well as channel partner training and enablement. This team also acts in a consultative fashion and is looked to as an expert in their field by the Nutanix sales, customer success, business partners, and customers.
Your Role
Provide active coaching and talent development of SEs to enable each team member and ensure they meet sales targets, work on skills development goalsWork with Talent Acquisition to help recruit and hire new SEs into the respective territorySupport SEs in drafting assessments, preparing complex product specifications, installation of custom solutions, and solving complex problemsProvide cross-functional escalation in support of customer/partner satisfactionEstablish and maintain a line of communication across the sales organization to ensure collaborationAssist staff in deal negotiations with end-users and/or channel partners (if applicable)Develop relationships with technical leadership at customers/partners within respective territory.Deliver roadmap/vision presentations to technical leadership within the respective territory.Be able to support the technical sales cycle as a player/coach as needed. Responsible for managing team metrics, using skill criteria to hire, develop, and promote team members, and initiating regular career conversations.What You Will Bring
5+ years of management experience or equivalent 10+ years of experience in a Presales customer-facing technical roleBachelor’s Degree, and working knowledge of Information Technology, or equivalent experience Demonstrated leadership skills and guiding teams to hitting their goalsExcellent people management skills; high empathy and consideration for team morale and members career progressionTechnical experience with virtualization technologies, data center consolidation, and/or server technologies will prepare you for our environment.Ability to assimilate new technologies and have proven customer-facing skills at both the C-level and line management levelTeam player with a zealous driveExcellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with cross-functional partnersA structured thinker with excellent presentation and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects, determine project urgency, and execute detailed action plansHighest level of personal and professional ethics and integrity.Collaborative and love belonging to a high-achieving sales team.Fluent in Arabic and EnglishWork Arrangement
