Walmart Global Tech is seeking a highly experienced leader to manage one of our enterprise data center operations in Bentonville. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence, security, and availability, while leading a high-performing engineering team in a mission-critical environment.
About the TeamOur Infrastructure & Platforms group builds and maintains the technology foundation that powers Walmart’s global operations. This includes data platforms, enterprise architecture, DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure—designed for security, scalability, and uninterrupted service across stores, distribution centers, and digital channels.
Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Management
Oversee physical infrastructure, including power, cooling, Building Management Systems (BMS), and support systems.
Ensure proper installation, maintenance, and upgrades for optimal performance and efficiency.
Security & Compliance
Implement and maintain physical and logical security measures.
Conduct regular audits to meet OSHA, industry, and regulatory standards.
Availability & Resilience
Maintain high availability through redundancy and backup systems.
Reduce downtime risks with proactive maintenance and failover strategies.
Capacity & Planning
Monitor performance, forecast future resource needs, and plan upgrades.
Manage infrastructure scalability to meet evolving business demands.
Incident Management
Lead response to operational incidents with minimal impact.
Coordinate with vendors and engineering teams for rapid resolution.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers.
Set performance goals, provide guidance, and ensure technical training.
Required QualificationsExtensive experience in data center operations, including HVAC, electrical, and BMS systems.
Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Maximo.
Strong leadership skills with a proven track record managing engineering teams.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Adaptability to evolving technologies and commitment to continuous learning.
3-5 years of Critical Facilities Management
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls Engineering

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
