What is the opportunity?
As Senior Manager, SEO & AEO Growth, you will drive day-to-day delivery of SEO and AEO improvements for RBC Insurance across traditional search and emerging AI search experiences. You will help ensure RBC Insurance products and content are found on platforms like Google, Reddit and YouTube, and surface in conversational platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, plus Google AI overviews and AI Mode.
You will partner closely with Product, Marketing, Engineering, Analytics, and Content to build search-friendly and LLM-friendly site foundations, ship template-level website improvements, and scale metadata and content systems in WordPress. You will execute a roadmap of optimizations and experiments, measure results and continuously improve discoverability and organic acquisition for rbcinsurance.com.
What will you do?
Execute SEO and AEO improvements across priority product and content pages using on page, technical, and off page levers.Own keyword & prompt research, mapping, and tracking, monitoring visibility and identifying search opportunities across products, intents, and topics.Build and optimize product focused landing pages in WordPress for AEO/SEO to support organic acquisition and conversion outcomes.Perform on page SEO work such as optimizing titles, descriptions, headings, internal linking, and content structure.Partner closely with the SEO content manager and content design lead to plan, brief, optimize, and refresh content and product pages based on keyword opportunity, performance data, and user intent.Lead LLM search optimization initiatives, including experiments that improve how content is selected, summarized, and cited by answer engines.Develop AEO and LLMO playbooks that define how content should be authored, structured, and maintained for search features and LLM platforms.Lead technical SEO programs that improve crawlability, indexation, canonicalization, site architecture, internal linking, pagination, redirects, and error management.Partner with Engineering to ship improvements to Core web vitals, site performance, rendering behavior, structured data quality, and template level SEO standards.Build and maintain scalable metadata and content frameworks, including title and description patterns, taxonomies, breadcrumbs, and programmatic internal linking.Implement and refine structured data and entity strategies to improve visibility in SERP features and AI powered search interfaces.Collaborate with Growth marketing and Comms on authority building through digital PR, backlink acquisition, and brand mention strategies.Build performance reporting across SEO and AI search channels, including dashboards, annotations, and insights that drive roadmap decisions.Educate stakeholders on SEO and AEO, changing search behavior and click patterns, and recommend strategies to protect and grow acquisition.Stay current on algorithm changes, platform shifts, and best practices, and apply them to roadmap updates.Act as Deputy product owner for RBCInsurance.com online experience delivery, supporting WordPress implementation, writing clear requirements, reviewing builds, and coordinating QAWhat will you need to succeed?

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.
Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$90,000.00 - $140,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location. If the posting lists multiple job locations, a recruiter can confirm availability of the role and the relevant pay rage for the additional locations listed.
