The platform enables key business processes across multiple functions, including commercial sales, customer service, and field service. You’ll work closely and collaboratively with developers, solutions architects, technical product managers, business partners/stakeholders, and cross-functional IT teams to support our business and their strategic objectives. **How will you make a difference?** As the leader of Salesforce Platform Development team, you will lead, support, and enable the team for success. Responsibilities include maintaining and stabilizing the platform, implementing new features and functionality, establishing, and guiding best practices, and ensuring high quality and scalable deliverables. You will also have an influence through mentoring, coaching, and developing employees, and through fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. **What do we want to know about you?** You must have: + Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university + A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Information Technology + Experience in leading a development team + Experience working in Agile SW development projects and waterfall tollgate methodologies + Working knowledge and experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud + Working knowledge and experience with Salesforce platform capabilities, constraints, and best practices + Working knowledge and experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, triggers, workflows, SQL/SOQL, REST and SOAP APIs, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML + Working knowledge and experience with DevOps methodologies and best practices + Experience in managing IT projects to a diverse customer base + Detail and results oriented, initiative-taking, has strong problem-solving capabilities, and works well with internal and external stakeholders + Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and persuasively with technical and non-technical stakeholders + Proactively engages with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and design solutions using critical thinking, analytical skills, and best practices + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing demands or needs of the business We would love it if you had: + Current salesforce certifications (Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform Developer) + Experience in Manufacturing industry and processes **What will your typical day look like?** + Partner and support the platform development team to ensure SLA’s are met for system performance, availability, and incidents + Manage and support the staff of employees and contingent workers to perform and execute the above scope + Regularly measure and assess team velocity, capacity, and resource planning; Propose and implement adjustments where appropriate + Continuous review and improvement of team operations (DevOps, QA Testing, Release Management) + Define clear goals and objectives for team members, along with coaching and mentoring the team as needed + Other duties as assigned **What about the physical demands of the job?** + Employees are regularly required to lead, listen, talk, and participate in multiple conference calls throughout the workday + Frequently remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods + Frequently communicating with others to exchange information + Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary. **_Relocation Assistance not provided_** **Our Commitment to Embrace Diversity:** Wabtec is a global company that invests not just in our products, but also our people by embracing diversity and inclusion.
