Senior Manager, Quality Assurance - Lab Operations
Position Summary...Relocation Required to Bentonville, AR

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Manager Laboratory Technician to lead our laboratory team in conducting experiments, analyzing data, and ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for driving innovation and efficiency in a laboratory setting.

What you'll do...

Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and expertise to laboratory staff in conducting experiments, troubleshooting equipment, and analyzing data. Serve as a subject matter expert in laboratory techniques, methodologies, and instrumentation.  

Team Management: Supervise and mentor laboratory technicians, scientists, and support staff. Assign tasks, provide training, and evaluate performance to ensure the team meets quality and productivity standards.  

Experiment Design and Execution: Collaborate with research and development teams to design and execute experiments to support product development, process optimization, and quality control activities. Ensure experiments are conducted according to established protocols and regulatory requirements.  

Data Analysis and Interpretation: Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of experimental data. Generate reports, graphs, and presentations to communicate results to stakeholders and support decision-making processes.  

Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure accuracy, reproducibility, and compliance with regulatory standards. Perform routine calibrations and validations of laboratory equipment and instruments.  

Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for laboratory staff. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EPA, and FDA regulations, as well as internal quality management systems.  

Inventory and Supplies Management: Manage laboratory inventory, including chemicals, reagents, and consumables. Monitor stock levels, place orders, and ensure adequate supply to support ongoing laboratory operations.  

Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment and instrumentation. Schedule preventive maintenance activities and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.  

Documentation and Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of experimental procedures, results, and observations. Ensure documentation is organized and accessible for regulatory inspections and internal audits.

Strong technical skills and proficiency in laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and data analysis software. 

Previous experience managing a team of laboratory personnel, including assigning tasks, providing training, and evaluating performance. 

Knowledge of quality control principles, regulatory requirements, and best practices in laboratory operations. 

Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. 

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
