Position Summary
Rolls-Royce Power Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Project Systems Business (PSB) Execution, Asia Pacific to lead and govern the execution of power generation project systems across the Asia Pacific region.
This role with full accountability for execution performance, delivery governance, and portfolio outcomes for complex, engineered power systems projects under the Project Systems Business. Based in Singapore, the role plays a critical part in ensuring consistent execution excellence across regional project teams, country organisations, and execution shared service centres.
The successful candidate will bring deep experience in project execution within engineered solutions or power generation environments, with a proven ability to lead teams, manage risk, and deliver results in high-complexity, multi-country settings.
What you will be doing:
Execution Governance and Accountability
Hold overall execution accountability for the Asia Pacific Project Systems Business project portfolio.Ensure all projects are executed in accordance with Rolls-Royce Power Systems’ established governance frameworks, project management standards, and delivery guidelines.Act as the primary escalation point for all critical execution matters, including delivery risk, schedule deviation, cost overruns, and quality issues.Portfolio and Resource Leadership
Oversee the planning, execution, and performance of a portfolio of power generation and engineered systems projects across Asia Pacific.Ensure appropriate allocation, capability, and staffing of project managers and execution resources across all projects.Serve as the functional execution lead supporting Country Managers within the regional execution shared service centre structure.Project Delivery and Commercial Performance
Drive disciplined execution to deliver projects on schedule, within approved budgets, and in line with contractual and technical specifications.Manage and control non-conformance and quality-related costs within agreed thresholds.Identify, lead, and convert change order opportunities into approved project variations and realized project revenue.Cross-Functional and Regional Collaboration
Work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, and regional leadership teams to resolve execution challenges and enable smooth project delivery.Ensure effective collaboration between the Asia Pacific hub and regional execution shared service centres to achieve execution excellence.Partner with global counterparts in other regions to share best practices and remain aligned with evolving customer and market requirements.Leadership, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement
Lead regular execution and portfolio review meetings with project teams, providing direction, guidance, and coaching.Prepare and present monthly execution status and portfolio performance reports to senior management.Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including structured lessons-learned reviews across the Asia Pacific region.Collaborate with the regional Project Management Office on portfolio optimisation and execution excellence initiatives.Maintain awareness of current project management best practices and industry standards.Position requirements:
Essential
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in project management and execution within engineered solutions, power generation, or industrial systems environments.At least 5 years of leadership experience with responsibility for project portfolios, revenue accountability, or large-scale delivery teams.Proven track record of managing complex, multi-country project portfolios and delivering projects within schedule, budget, and quality expectations.Formal project management certification (such as Project Management Professional or equivalent).Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to lead teams in high-pressure environments and manage competing priorities.Willingness to travel within the Asia Pacific region as required.Preferred Experience
Experience within the diesel generator, power generation, or mission-critical power systems industry.Background in multinational, matrixed organisations with structured execution governance.Exposure to regional execution hubs or shared service centre operating models.Additional Asian language capabilities.Leadership Attributes
