Senior Manager, Product Acceleration, EdTech/GovTech Product Acceleration
Description Amazon Web Services (AWS) is helping software companies build and innovate faster. This role focuses on software companies that provide critical solutions to governments that utilize their offerings to serve their constituents. Areas include justice and public safety, health and human services, transportation, as well as finance and administration. In this role, you will work directly with our customers to uncover, create, and launch new products and features. As part of the sales organization, you will be a go-to expert on accelerating our customers’ SaaS product development. You will play a key role in forging and strengthening relationships wit Chief Product Officers (CPOs). Your understanding of the success drivers and challenges of product leaders will earn the trust to help shape roadmaps and drive new innovation. Your track record shows a consistent pattern of delivering against business outcomes vs. just delivering outputs. This is a customer-facing role that combines business development and product management. Key job responsibilities * Earn Trust with product leaders and Work Backwards from end-user needs to identify innovation opportunities. * Research industry trends to proactively identify areas of opportunity and bring those to CPOs to win new workloads. * Build product requirements and build plans to accelerate the launch of innovative opportunities. * Ensure the launch of the innovation opportunities by securing the necessary resources, holding stakeholders accountable, and identifying and mitigating risks. * Collaborate with AWS marketing and go-to-market teams, along with customer sales and marketing, to showcase new launches and accelerate end-user adoption. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
