Position Summary


The Senior Manager, Pharmacy Growth drives the future of CVS Pharmacy by identifying, shaping, and advancing new strategic opportunities. In this role, you will bring structure to ambiguous problems, generate clear insights quickly, and guide leaders toward decisions that unlock meaningful business impact. You’ll lead fast‑paced strategic sprints, translate complex information into executive‑ready recommendations, and partner across a large matrixed organization to move high‑potential ideas from concept to early testing.

You will support a dynamic growth portfolio, collaborating with cross‑functional teams across Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness. Responsibilities

Lead strategic sprints to evaluate and advance new growth opportunities across the Pharmacy portfolioDevelop clear, data‑driven insights and executive‑ready recommendations to support senior‑level decision‑makingCollaborate with cross‑functional teams to define opportunities, build alignment, and move initiatives through incubation and early testingManage and develop 1–2 team members, fostering strategic thinking and strong communication skillsOperate effectively within a dynamic, matrixed environment and support enterprise initiatives as needed

​Required Qualifications

6+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or similarly analytical and strategic environmentsDemonstrated ability to influence senior executives using data‑driven insights and structured storytellingStrong financial and economic acumen, including experience modeling business impact and ROIProven ability to navigate and execute within large, matrixed organizations or agile environmentsExcellent communication skills, including visual storytelling and development of executive‑level presentationsLeadership experience through direct people management or cross‑functional team leadership

Preferred Qualifications

8+ years of experience in healthcare, retail pharmacy, or related industries8+ years of experience developing, implementing, and executing programsDemonstrated success in building high‑performing teams and developing emerging leadersStrong ability to address challenges decisively while supporting team dynamics and empowering othersExperience leading under pressure, adapting to real‑time changes, and balancing multiple stakeholder needsProven ability to break down highly complex situations and deliver impactful, timely solutionsOutstanding interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skillsExperience collaborating across diverse business functions, leadership styles, and perspectivesExperience leading large teams and managing significant business units to achieve financial and operational results

MBA or advanced degree in business, strategy, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$75,400.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
