Senior Manager, Human Resources City Ciudad de Mexico State/Province Distrito Federal Overview:

The Senior Human Resource Manager provides leadership in developing and executing Human Resources Strategy and Initiatives to support the overall business plan. This position will be located in Mexico City and supports multiple shared service functions (Customer Experience, Legal, Procurement, Finance, Logistics, Trade Compliance, IT).

 

As a member of the Site Leadership Team, partners with Site Leader as a strategic business advisor regarding key organizational and management needs while providing local guidance and execution of performance management, employee relations, leader development, workforce planning, diversity and inclusion, engagement, as well as, general HR policy administration.

Responsibilities: Proactively identify business and HR objectives/expectations; develop, manage or participate in project teams as appropriate to achieve desired results in a timely manner.Build organizational cohesion, health and flexibility, as well as providing strategic guidance in the day-to-day management to achieve flawless execution.Create the right environment as a champion for HR initiatives, employee advocacy, building a culture of engagement while partnering with Center of Excellence teams in support and guidance of talent recruitment, organization design, employee development, pay planning, labor relations, talent review and succession planning, as applicable.Partner and consult with Functional Leaders and Functional HRBPs to drive change initiatives that enhance business performance and cascade communication through functional leaders.Resolve employee relations issues in a balanced, fair, and objective manner, using appropriate counseling, investigative, intervention and other problem resolution techniques.Provide guidance and counseling regarding legislative, regulatory and compliance issues including company policies, practices and procedures in order to achieve business goals and objectives and consistency across business functions.Partnering with legal and HR COEs to provide tools and training for evolving labor and regulatory complianceWork collaboratively with peers and escalate topics appropriately Qualifications: 8+ recent years of Human Resource Management supporting Shared Service Functions (Customer Experience, Legal, Procurement, Finance, Logistics, Trade Compliance and IT). Recent progressive and HR experience in a complex organization with diverse cultures, and operating environments, including experience providing forward-facing strategic recommendations and working with senior leadership.Increasing levels of responsibility to include a broad HR Generalist background with experience in multiple disciplines such as employee relations, workforce planning, talent management, talent development, performance management, compensation, and more.Experience at a new site with rapid growth within a short period of timeSuccessful in leading through influence and stakeholder managementFamiliarity with Mexican STPS (Department of Labor audits), probationary periods of employment as outlined in employment contracts and related training records, as well as REPSE (outsourcing labor reform in Mexico)Experience in organizational development and change management.Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with quickly shifting priorities.Experience working in global and matrixed environments where decisions are made functionally or globally and information is cascadedExperience working with global leaders with employees located at the Shared Service MX City SiteExcellent interpersonal and communication skills across all employees at every level (tailoring messages for the different target audiences). To include being proficient/bi-lingual in English and Spanish.

 

Required Education: 

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
