Senior Manager, Global Workplace Strategy and Transformation

Job Description

What is the Opportunity?

Working with the Director of Strategy and Transformation to conduct data analysis, develop market based strategic models, and synthesize insights to drive efficient and employee-centric workspace recommendations. Along with managing long-term strategic plans for key markets for office and retail portfolio and manage key socialization with business stakeholders and internal stakeholders. The role emphasizes continuous skill development in areas like structured thinking, stakeholder communication, and advanced analytics to ensure high-quality, repeatable outcomes. All responsibilities carried out in accordance with Code of Conduct, RBC Values and Guiding Principles ensuring adherence to Privacy Principles.

What will you do?

Synthesize complex data (e.g., occupancy metrics, employee feedback, cost benchmarks) into actionable insights and digestible content for executivesContribute to the development of mid-long term strategic recommendations to optimize workspace utilization, occupancy cost, and operational efficiencyProvide relevant enterprise project support on key priorities for CRE, and help to develop long term plan and strategy for the internal functionBuild and maintain analytical models, charts, slides to support problem solving and executive stakeholder meetingsBuild and maintain dynamic analytical models (e.g., scenario planning, ROI analysis) and visual tools (charts, dashboards) to support decision-makingBuild and maintain relationships with executives, influencing key decisions through data-driven storytellingDerive maximum efficacy from the Service Partner collaboration with the location strategy and/or market planning teams as requiredPartner closely with CRE, HR, IT, Finance, and business leaders to integrate workplace strategies with broader organizational goals, such as hybrid work models, sustainability, and cost optimization

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

Minimum 7+ years in management consulting/real estate experienceDemonstrated expertise in developing workplace/portfolio strategies and business cases for executive presentation and approvalStrong PowerPoint and executive presentation/communication skillsStrong research and analytical skillsGood working knowledge of Excel and comfortable working with large data sets

Nice-to-have: 

Previous consulting experience with large clients/financial services or previous global strategy rolesFinancial services industry experienceGlobal Corporate Real Estate experienceMBA or Graduate Degree
