As a Global Sourcing Manager for a greenfield setup, you will be responsible for end-to-end aspects of sourcing material across all divisions of MKS and report to Global Sourcing Director. The product portfolio is very diverse and requires robust sourcing technics, strategies, and negotiation skills to ensure customer expectations are met. Source electrical, mechanical and optics materials globallyImplement and execute category strategies, including developing new suppliers in new marketsAlign with Category Managers on sourcing guidance and prioritiesAlign with related other functional team members and create a project team as requiredGenerate project savings ideas or sourcing events in the global cost management funnelTrack each sourcing progress and report out regularly Identify potential suppliers for MKS sourcing needs and establish NDAs if not already in placePrepare and send RFQ package to the selected suppliers for quoteNegotiate with supplier during the quotation process and leverage any internal stakeholder needed for technical clarifications that the supplier might haveAnalyze the results of the sourcing events and present a summary of the financial opportunity to the project team and internal stakeholdersMake recommendations on how to proceed with the best supplier solutionCommunicate the award of the project scope to suppliersFacilitate first article PO creation through procurement and monitor until FAI is acceptedHandoff the supplier to production buyers and ensure master data has been created accuratelyEnsure all suppliers and subcontractors comply with company policies, including ethical sourcing practices, safety, and corporate responsibility

Skills You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience5+ years of relevant experience working in a diverse and global supply chain organizationCPIM, CSCP or similar certification preferredIn-depth knowledge and experience in Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical/Machining and Optics/PhotonicsCapability to evaluate a variety of potential suppliers and analyze supplier proposals of a total costNegotiation skills for cost reduction, cost avoidance and terms & conditionsAbility to lead a complex project from end to end and deliver a positive result on timeAbility to work under pressure and manage competing prioritiesTeam-player attitude, excellent communication skills, self-motivated driveA keen eye on, and a strong interest in the world of sourcing and procurementMicrosoft office skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet and Power BIWorking a hybrid work schedule and attending meetings with different time zonesFlexibility to travel up to 10% of the time
