This position works out of our Santa Clara, CA location in the Structural Heart Division.

Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.
The Global Strategy Manager will be part of the Global Strategy team in the Structural Heart headquarters in Santa Clara, California and will develop qualitative and quantitative market insights in support of strategic business decisions.
The candidate will be expected to quickly develop an understanding of the Structural Heart space, Abbott’s product offerings, key market dynamics and internal strategic processes. Essential success factors for this role include strong business acumen, attention to details, expertise in PowerPoint & Excel, ability to work independently under tight deadlines and strong interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional stakeholders.
What You’ll Work On
Contribute to the development of strategic plans in support of the franchises by providing market insights, opportunity assessment, competitive analyses and support the creation of ad hoc reportsDevelop presentations and strategic narrative with clear story line for executive audienceDrive the strategic goals planning process, identifying top priorities, and coordinating functional goal setting activitiesLead competitive intelligence efforts across devices, platforms, digital health solutions, and adjacent technologiesMonitor and analyze competitor portfolios, pipelines, clinical evidence, regulatory approvals, and go‑to‑market strategiesConduct market, customer, and ecosystem analysis to identify growth opportunities and emerging threatsSupport annual and long‑range strategic planning processes with data‑driven competitive insightsPartner with cross‑functional teams (R&D, Commercial, Regulatory, Clinical, Strategic Marketing, Finance) to align strategy and executionPerform data analysis using raw financial data files (sales, pricing etc.) and interpret results to drive business decisionsManage dashboards and internal platforms for data visualization, reporting and workflow management Strong executive communication skills with experience engaging and influencing senior leadershipTranslate complex competitive and market intelligence into concise, actionable executive presentationsIdentify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospectingLead discovery conversations to understand business needs, challenges, and partnership criteriaPrepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to customers and senior leadership alignmentNegotiate commercial terms, contracts, and partnerships to drive mutually beneficial outcomesSupport M&A, joint venture, or strategic investment initiatives when applicableInfluence product roadmap and value proposition based on customer insights and market feedbackRequired Qualifications

The base pay for this position is $130,700.00 – $261,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
