Role Summary:Based in Houston, the Commercial Operations Manager, Industrial Pump Aftermarket provides strategic leadership to regional technical quoting teams supporting the Industrial Pump Aftermarket business. The role focuses on talent development, commercial strategy deployment, continuous improvement, and delivering a positive customer experience. This position requires global travel of 40%–50% and the ability to work across multiple time zones.Responsibilities:• Support Application Engineers and quoting staff to deliver high‑quality, on‑time, value‑priced proposals and technical decisions for the Industrial Pump Aftermarket.• Ensure regional teams drive margin, make value‑added pricing decisions, and deliver best‑in‑class support to Engineering, Sales, and end‑user clients.• Partner with Industrial Pump Business Unit and Sales leadership on strategies and tactics that drive above‑market growth.• Align with regional Commercial Operations teams to achieve Industrial Pump Aftermarket bookings KPIs.• Drive collaboration and clear communication with Sales, Operations, and Engineering throughout the bid cycle.• Strengthen process compliance for tools, systems, and customer‑facing policies and procedures.• Promote Flowserve values and ensure strong team engagement.• Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:• BS or BA degree in a relevant field and 8–10 years of relevant experience.• Global travel 40%–50% and availability to work across different time zones.• Leadership experience with a collaborative style and strong focus on employee engagement.• High commercial competency including business savvy, financial acumen, influencing skills, and a sales mindset.• Strong organizational skills with a track record of meeting goals.• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.• Detail‑oriented and process‑driven with demonstrated results.• Understanding of Flowserve’s industry and portfolio with both technical and commercial exposure.• Continuous improvement mindset and comfort with analytical tools and technologies.Preferred:• Experience with commercial contracts and terms and conditions.
