Role and Responsibilities

Job Summary

Samsung Electronics America is a proven leader in operational excellence within the electronics and consumer goods industry, dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences through efficient processes and strategic initiatives. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Manager to oversee the operational aspects of our direct-to-consumer (D2C) strategy, ensuring seamless execution, process optimization, and customer satisfaction within our Mobile D2C operations. This role will focus on driving efficiency, managing fulfillment processes, and maintaining high-quality service delivery.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Oversight: Directly manage day-to-day D2C operations, including fulfillment, inventory management, returns processing, and parcel shipping. Ensure seamless execution and alignment with broader business objectives.Fulfillment & Vendor Management: Manage the end-to-end fulfillment process, ensuring timely and accurate order execution and delivery. Manage relationships with 3PL (third-party logistics) and parcel vendors to maintain cost-effective, high-quality service delivery.Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving measures across D2C operations, balancing efficiency with customer satisfaction.Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance operational processes, including streamlining fulfillment workflows, improving inventory accuracy, and optimizing returns management.Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze KPIs related to fulfillment, inventory, and returns to measure operational success. Provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with global HQ, supply chain, product teams, marketing, IT, finance, and product development to ensure alignment and successful implementation of D2C strategies.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.8+ years of experience in e-commerce, retail, or a related industry, with a focus on D2C operations.Strong understanding of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, as well as parcel shipping operations.Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively across teams.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement.Experience managing budgets and optimizing costs while delivering high-quality results.
