**Position Summary**
The Senior Manager, FP&A Individual Medicare Advantage role will be responsible for financial forecasting and analysis within the Medicare Advantage segment. This role will require strong time management, organization, and communication skills. The Senior Manager will work cross-functionally with actuarial, accounting, finance, sales, and performance management teams to collaborate on building and maintaining forecast models and assumptions. The role will have visibility into revenue and medical cost forecasting, allowing for Gross Profit P&L ownership.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Building and maintaining forecast and budget models for revenue and benefit costs
+ Developing and communicating financial projection assumptions
+ Creating effective reporting to support leadership reviews during quarterly projection cycles
+ Monitoring Medicare products’ risks and opportunities
+ Analyzing drivers of variances to budgets
+ Enhancing processes to incorporate additional financial detail to better support the Medicare business
+ Managing team members to help develop and grow their careers
**Required Qualifications:**
+ At least 5 years of healthcare insurance work experience
+ At least 7 years of financial analysis work experience
+ At least 1 year of formal or informal leadership work experience
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
+ Proficiency in Hyperion
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Medicare experience
+ Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and analytical skills
+ Strong communication (verbal/written) and presentation skills
+ Sound decision making skills
**Education:**
Bachelor’s Degree required; equivalent work experience may substitute.
**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
