Senior Manager, Finance - Data Ventures
Position Summary...Join our team as a Senior Manager, Finance – LRP & Decision Support and play a pivotal role in shaping Walmart’s long-range planning strategy within Data Ventures. About the Team
Our finance team partners closely with senior leadership and cross-functional groups to deliver actionable insights and support enterprise-wide planning and forecasting. We are dedicated to driving operational excellence, fiscal discipline, and strategic resource allocation. As a key member of the team, you will help ensure our financial plans align with corporate strategy and support Walmart’s commitment to innovation and growth.

What you'll do...Lead the development and refinement of long-range financial plans (LRP), ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and business unit goals.Build and maintain robust financial models to evaluate business scenarios, risks, and opportunities.Translate complex financial data into clear, concise narratives and presentations for executive audiences.Partner with senior leadership to deliver actionable insights for investment decisions, resource allocation, and strategic initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Strategy, Merchandising, and Operations to support enterprise-wide planning and forecasting.Drive continuous improvement in financial planning processes, tools, and reporting.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.6+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategy roles.Demonstrated expertise in long-range planning, financial modeling, and decision support.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a bias for action.Exceptional communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning systems (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion); familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...

1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
