Our Asset Strategy & Investment team partners across Walmart US to deliver actionable insights and financial guidance that drive business growth and operational excellence. As a key member of the team, you’ll help ensure our investments align with company goals and deliver long-term value.
**What you'll do...**
+ Prepare complex financial analyses and models to support planning, forecasting, and business performance evaluation
+ Recommend future expense targets and partner cross-functionally to analyze business results
+ Manage and enhance financial control structures to mitigate risk and ensure reporting transparency
+ Develop and present business cases, forecasts, and variance analyses to senior and executive management
+ Guide cross-functional teams in developing new processes and controls for financial functions
+ Communicate financial results, assumptions, and risks to stakeholders, providing follow-up and support as needed
+ Drive execution of business plans and projects by identifying needs, setting priorities, and measuring progress
+ Supervise, mentor, and develop associates, fostering a culture of learning, recognition, and belonging
**What you’ll bring:**
+ Advanced experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling within a large, complex organization
+ Strong understanding of financial controls, risk mitigation, and reporting systems
+ Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to senior leaders and cross-functional teams
+ Experience developing business cases and presenting recommendations to executive management
+ Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, building collaborative environments, and driving results
+ Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement and ethical standards

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

**Minimum Qualifications...**

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
1 year’s supervisory experience.
