The MAP Measurement, Insights and Data Strategy (MINDS) team is part of the Sam’s Club Member & Insights Center of Excellence org that is dedicated to supporting the retail media MAP business unit. It is comprised of two key workstreams - Performance Measurement & Insights team and Media Science & Experimentation team. MAP MINDS plays a critical role in MAP’s accelerated growth by bringing the power of 1st party deterministic membership data and advanced data science and innovative measurement approaches together to offer trusted data and insights to MAP advertisers and MAP internal teams.What you'll do...What will you do? The Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics, Performance Measurement & Insights will lead the delivery of a centralized analytics and dashboarding initiative designed to provide transparent, reliable, and decision-ready insights for advertisers. This role will focus on building and scaling high-quality dashboards and measurement solutions that connect data pipelines, standardized metrics, and intuitive visualizations to enable faster, more confident decision-making for sales and supplier partners. In close partnership with product, engineering, and Sales teams, this role will design and implement end-to-end analytics solutions spanning data modeling, performance measurement, and visualization. The Senior Manager will advance dashboard standards, data quality, and automation, including the application of AI-enabled analytics and reporting workflows, while translating complex performance results into clear, actionable insights. This role will also contribute to evolving measurement methodologies and best practices to support new media products and ensure Supersets Dashboarding Initiative scales as a trusted source of truth across the organization. Who is an ideal candidate? The ideal candidate is a hands-on data professional who blends analytics engineering, data visualization, and applied data science to drive clarity and decision-making in a fast-growing retail media environment. They bring strong prior retail media and digital / in-store advertising experience. This person brings deep technical expertise in SQL, Python, BI tools, and data pipelines, paired with the ability to translate complex data into simple, actionable narratives for sales, product, and supplier stakeholders. They are energized by building end-to-end analytics solutions, from data sourcing and modeling to high-quality dashboards and AI-enabled insights, and are comfortable operating in highly visible, cross-functional environments.
