Position Summary...

What you'll do...

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Dairy Producer Relations team, responsible for developing and implementing effective programs to attract and retain dairy producers, while ensuring compliance and productivity across the region. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills, able to build strong relationships with producers, cooperatives, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement producer and cooperative attraction and retention programs, defining program goals, structures, and expectations for producer participationIdentify and engage producers consistent with the company's current business needs, sustainability standards, and industry best practicesCreate a network of raw product producers and procure necessary supplies for marketing programsDevelop relationships with raw product producers to identify needs and concerns, and serve as the primary contact for producersTranslate producer needs and concerns into services and benefits, ensuring producers are compensated appropriately and in line with Federal Marketing Order (FMO) regulationsManage a network of producers across an assigned region, ensuring compliance and productivity by monitoring quality of raw product, animal welfare, sustainability, and other compliance concernsCollaborate with veterinarians in animal welfare examinations and address quality, animal welfare, and sustainability concerns with producersDevelop and implement productivity initiatives to increase production, improve quality, profitability, and environmental impactCollaborate with producers to increase raw product supply needed for new production growth or capabilities of the plantServe as the company representative for producers and cooperatives, implementing message frameworks and ensuring key external audiences understand Walmart's culture and valuesDrive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing and communicating business plans and priorities, and removing barriers and obstacles that impact performanceProvide supervision and development opportunities for associates, selecting and training, mentoring, assigning duties, and conducting regular performance evaluationsPromote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Agriculture (AG) or BusinessExperience in dairy industry, supply chain management, or a related fieldExperience with Federal Marketing Order (FMO) regulations and dairy industry best practices

The annual salary range for this position is $116,000.00-$174,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 2: 4 years' experience in agriculture, agribusiness, dairy or food science, or related area. 2 years’ experience in contract negotiations with producers and cooperatives.
2 years’ experience in the food manufacturing industry.
