Senior Manager, Critical Facilities Engineering, on-site
**About the Role:** As a CBRE Senior Manager, Critical Facilities Engineering,you will be based at one of our client’s locations in Salt Lake City, UT; SanFrancisco, CA; or Menlo Park, CA, while remotely overseeing a broader portfolioof sophisticated office environments and critical facilities. In this role, youwill be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing complexmechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) operations across multiple sites andcampuses. Although this position does not include direct reports, youwill collaborate closely with vendors, service providers, and contractors toplan, schedule, and execute all MEP‑related work. You will ensure that allactivities meet operational, safety, and regulatory requirements whilesupporting high‑performance building operations. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Servicesfunction, which delivers technical support, preventive maintenance, and repairservices for mechanical equipment and building systems. **What You’ll Do:** + Serve as a 24/7 on‑call resource for emergencies impactingbuilding operations, including severe weather, natural disasters, andunexpected facility events. + Responsible for KPI performance and deliverables, ensuring100% on‑time submission and leveraging CBRE data tools to achieve successfulresults. + Work closely with contractors, subcontractors, and engineersto coordinate all maintenance‑related activities. + Oversee the daily operation of facility controls and assetmanagement systems. + Establish bidding procedures and solicit proposals forcontract maintenance activities. + Develop and manage annual operating budgets; evaluate,forecast, and control operations and maintenance costs across multiplelocations. + Schedule maintenance activities while meeting clientoperational requirements. + Partner with clients on space reconfiguration, operationalchanges, and evolving facility needs. + Apply broad knowledge of the business and technicaldiscipline to achieve departmental objectives and deliver high‑qualityoperational outcomes. + Lead by example and model behaviors aligned with CBRE RISEvalues, influencing stakeholders and vendors to adopt best practices. + Identify and resolve complex technical and operationalissues with minimal guidance. + Recognize and communicate the broader operational anddepartmental impact of decisions. + Recommend and implement improvements to methods, processes,and standards within the job discipline. **What You’ll Need:** + Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline preferred,with 5–8 years of relevant experience. California Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Senior Manager, Critical Facilities Engineering position is $150,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Senior Manager, Critical Facilities Engineering is $170,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
