In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) operations across multiple sites and campuses. Although this position does not include direct reports, you will collaborate closely with vendors, service providers, and contractors to plan, schedule, and execute all MEP‑related work. You will ensure that all activities meet operational, safety, and regulatory requirements while supporting high‑performance building operations. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, which delivers technical support, preventive maintenance, and repair services for mechanical equipment and building systems. **What You’ll Do:** + Serve as a 24/7 on‑call resource for emergencies impacting building operations, including severe weather, natural disasters, and unexpected facility events. + Responsible for KPI performance and deliverables, ensuring 100% on‑time submission and leveraging CBRE data tools to achieve successful results. + Work closely with contractors, subcontractors, and engineers to coordinate all maintenance‑related activities. + Oversee the daily operation of facility controls and asset management systems. + Establish bidding procedures and solicit proposals for contract maintenance activities. + Develop and manage annual operating budgets; evaluate, forecast, and control operations and maintenance costs across multiple locations. + Schedule maintenance activities while meeting client operational requirements. + Partner with clients on space reconfiguration, operational changes, and evolving facility needs. + Apply broad knowledge of the business and technical discipline to achieve departmental objectives and deliver high‑quality operational outcomes. + Lead by example and model behaviors aligned with CBRE RISE values, influencing stakeholders and vendors to adopt best practices. + Identify and resolve complex technical and operational issues with minimal guidance. + Recognize and communicate the broader operational and departmental impact of decisions. + Recommend and implement improvements to methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline. **What You’ll Need:** + Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline preferred, with 5–8 years of relevant experience. The minimum salary for the Senior Manager, Critical Facilities Engineering position is $150,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Senior Manager, Critical Facilities Engineering is $170,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
