Job Description:
Reporting to the VP, CPB Strategy, the successful candidate will:
Lead the Competitive Intelligence function for CPB, developing value-added analysis and forward-looking insights on customer needs, industry trends and the competitive landscape to help leaders make informed strategic decisions and stay up to date on potential changes and disruptions impacting value proposition of the business.Support the Performance Measurement function of the team, establishing and tracking segment-level KPIs, OKRs, and coordinating content for leadership results review cadences.Support the annual strategic planning process by understanding CPB business objectives and challenges, building business plans, creating cases for change and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders.Support planning & coordination of CPB Strategy through a variety of CPB and other senior leader deliverables and forums.Conduct ad-hoc research, analysis and prepare briefings, memo's, presentations and other communications, as needed.Represent the team both internally in the organization across business lines and with the enterprise, and externally with vendors.Mentors and develops colleagues across the team.Department Overview:

Our diverse team brings a variety of perspectives and experiences from across the organization that enable us to inform strategy and provide unbiased insights to help CPB operate effectively. We accomplish this by focusing on three key pillars:
Strategy Development and Governance: We help businesses identify strategic objectives and build their business plans, create cases for change, gain support and enable execution. We lead the creation and management of key strategic documents and scorecards, socialize and gain approval from key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with bank policies.Competitive Intelligence & Insights: We gather data, research, and create insights that help leaders make informed decisions.Performance Measurement: We manage and evolve performance measurement tools for CPB (KPIs and OKRs), as well as leadership forums and cadences to discuss strategic performance.Job Requirements:
5+ years of business or strategy experience.CPA and/or CFA qualification considered an asset.Strong business acumen and a clear understanding of how the bank makes money. Knowledge of CPB would be an asset.Experience leading change and making an impact in cross-functional groups through influence and by nurturing key relationships at all levels.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and through ambiguity.Flexible to adapt and manage within a dynamic business environment.Skills:
Critical and strategic thinking skills to support balanced decision making.Strong analytical skills, with background in working with data and insights, conducting analysis, and writing reports/presentations.Excellent communication and presentation skills, notably the ability to present complex information in a manner which is concise, simple and easy to understand.Executive presence, the ability to interact with all levels within the organization and influence executive decision-making.Ability to work with pace on multiple deliverables, meeting deadlines and thriving under pressure.#LI_COMMERCIAL
