What you'll do...

Sr. Manager, Strategy & Innovation - eCommerce

Be the operational engine that keeps Walmart’s eCommerce innovation strategy moving. They will combine strong executional discipline with enough technical and business acumen to anticipate needs, connect insights, and enable faster, strategic decision-making.

They’ll Own:

Program Operations: Manage the cadence for innovation activities. This includes scheduling, agendas, pre-reads, notes, follow-ups, and deliverables; keeping everyone aligned on timelines.

Innovation Content Coordination: Own the process for collecting, editing, and formatting content for the Innovation Memo, YBM, and Holiday.

Partnership Management: Track progress across pilots and third-party integrations; help translate technical updates into business summaries.

Technical Fluency: Bring comfort with digital tools and light analytics. They should be able to navigate site experiences, interpret partner dashboards, and connect performance data to strategic outcomes.

Insight Synthesis: Pull together insights and updates for leadership summaries, dashboards, and presentations.

Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement better ways to organize and communicate innovation operations.

Strategy Enablement: Support eCommerce strategy work, including research, synthesis of insights, and development of recommendations that inform key priorities and leadership discussions.

Strategic Thinking: Experience connecting day-to-day execution to broader business strategy; able to synthesize insights and shape recommendations for leadership.

Entrepreneurial Fluency: Working knowledge of how startups operate and is comfortable working with emerging companies, evolving product roadmaps, lean teams, and fast iteration cycles.

Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with experience preparing executive-ready summaries, memos, and presentations.

Cross-Functional Agility: Demonstrated success collaborating across diverse internal and external teams to keep initiatives aligned and moving forward.
