Position Summary
This Senior Manager, Controllership supports the Transportation Organizations and is responsible for developing new financial processes and flows, financial accounting support, monthly close, reconciliations, internal controls, and consulting with business partners for a newly established business initiative.

About the Supply Chain Controllership Team
The Walmart US – Supply Chain Controllership team provides accounting support to business partners and ensures timely financial reporting for the Walmart US segment. As part of the Walmart Supply Chain organization, you will contribute to the success of our Transportation Network! What you’ll do:

Lead monthly close and reconciliation processes for transportation initiative accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.Build, automate, and improve financial processes and workflows, collaborating with shared services, technology, and business teams.Provide comprehensive accounting support for new business initiatives—including system conversions, infrastructure builds, and new operational processes—ensuring all financial implications are addressed.Establish and maintain valid subledgers and ensure new accounting methodologies are applied consistently across business units.Oversee and enhance internal controls, proactively identifying and implementing improvements as business strategies and operations evolve.

What you’ll bring:

Proven experience with SEC reporting and US GAAP, with strong technical accounting skills and attention to compliance.Background in transportation, import/export, retail, or revenue accounting, with the ability to connect accounting principles to strategic business decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to and influencing senior executives and cross-functional partners.Demonstrated ability to lead projects, drive accountability, and collaborate effectively across diverse teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a passion for process improvement and continuous learning.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...
