Job Summary:

We're looking for a seasoned Senior Manager, Civil Engineering to drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects, providing strategic leadership and technical expertise to our real estate development initiatives. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for overseeing civil engineering design development and implementation, managing external consultants, and ensuring compliance with Walmart’s standards and specifications.

Responsibilities:

Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing and communicating priorities, and removing barriers to performance.Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, ensuring compliance and fostering a culture of belonging.Ensure business needs are met by evaluating the effectiveness of current plans and initiatives, consulting with stakeholders, and applying suggestions for improvement.Oversee external civil engineering consultants by establishing deliverables and timelines, ensuring documentation accuracy, and reviewing compliance with Walmart’s standards and specifications.Manage the civil design process for real estate initiatives, coordinating with consultants and legal partners, resolving design and construction issues, and review of design changes.Establish best practices to ensure cost containment, identify inefficiencies, and recommend alternatives to improve site layout and budget.Manage civil engineering design development and implementation, including systematic audits, and governance of site plans.Direct site planning, technical due diligence, and site entitlement for real estate development, managing consulting firms and navigating permitting processes.

Requirements:

Proven knowledge in civil engineering design with a minimum of seven years of experience in development and project management, preferably in real estate or construction environments.Licensed Professional Engineer.Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and building codes and ordinances, permitting, and licensing processes.Excellent problem-solving abilities, with experience resolving complex design and construction issues.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.Commitment to upholding company values, ethics, and a culture of continuous improvement.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
