The North America Supply Chain Operations team is looking for a supply chain professional to lead our supply chain execution teams focused on long term, 3 to 5 years, capacity planning. As a team player, you have an opportunity to work with some of the best Technical Engineers, Program Managers, 100s of Fulfillment Centers (FC) and Business Leaders to design the best fulfillment network for North America.
The role(s) leads the teams for Long-term Capacity Planning, Network Design and Strategic Supply Chain Initiatives and requires working with cross-functional business teams across the company to jointly define requirements, process/system solutions to continuously improve the efficiency and speed of our network. This position involves regular communication with senior management in both operations and retail teams to develop future roadmaps and react quickly to changing business environments.
The position(s) works across a variety of teams including: Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT), Category Leadership, World Wide Design and Engineering, Real Estate, Launch, Transportation, Operations, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), and Finance.
Key job responsibilities
- Provide multi-year demand and capacity plans for core NA fulfillment networks.
- Create and deliver build plans to meet network capacity and ship needs
- Work with Supply Chain Innovations, Design and Engineering and other execution teams to realize build plans
- Provide strategic plans to optimize the current network
- Build standard work and automation to improve long term planning effectiveness and accuracy
- Lead teams across multiple supply chain functions for NA Capacity Planning with support from key functional leaders for the NA business.
- Recommend the full year capacity build plans during operational planning cycles after analyzing impact of cost, customer experience, demand and capacity gap
- Manage the short-term volume plan, balancing capacity and demand throughout the NA network.
- Manage stakeholder priorities and project schedules
- Lead strategic thinking and initiatives that innovate and strengthen the NA fulfillment network.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of team management experience
- 5+ years of supply chain experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience managing teams of 6 or more
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience working with, presenting to and influencing senior executives up to VP level
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
