YOUR IMPACT
The role reports to the Sr. Director of Revenue Operations and is responsible for managing all variable compensation systems. This role is based in Waterloo, Canada. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and possess a broad understanding of technical workflows required in processing compensation data. This manager will lead the various systems analysts responsible for ensuring that variable compensation data is processed accurately and timely.
Responsibilities include ensuring compensation calculations are accurate, variable compensation and incentive plan design systems implementation, manual data feed processing, and managing technical issues when they arise in Xactly. In addition, this is a management role leading technical analysts – a portion of the role will be dedicated to ensuring their success, managing performance goals, delivering feedback and delegating/assigning priorities.
A critical success in this role will be the ability to provide efficient support to the wider variable compensation teams, to communicate and work collaboratively with other groups across the global OpenText organization, including HR, Finance, and Sales.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Financial Analysis, Computer Science, IT, or related technical field.10+ years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, and/or metrics and reporting.Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose problems, design solutions, and manage complex data sets.Exceptional organizational and leadership skills with proven experience managing high-performing teams.Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders.Previous experience in sales compensation management strongly preferred.Expertise with Xactly or similar compensation platforms is an asset.

Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. Salary Range: $125,500 - $188,300 CAD; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
