As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and processing equipment, including Spray Dryers and Extruders. You will collaborate with production and engineering teams to define equipment requirements for new product introductions.
Your role involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, dismantling and replacing defective components, and reassembling machinery for optimal performance. You will perform preventive maintenance using PM and work order systems to ensure equipment reliability, and train and mentor less experienced maintenance staff, sharing your knowledge and best practices. Ensuring compliance with safety standards while performing physically demanding tasks is essential.
Essential SkillsHands-on experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including working with components up to 480 volts.Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance of extrusion and coating machines.Proficiency in electrical maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Experience with CMMS, motors, and schematic interpretation.Ability to work with sensors, VFD, panel repair, and pumps.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work with minimal supervision.Advanced mechanical and electrical expertise to troubleshoot and optimize complex systems.LPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.
