Senior Logistics Vendor Management- Reverse Logistics

Job Description:

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted.  No relocation is offered

Location: Dallas, TX

Overall Purpose

Oversees and optimizes the logistics and supply chain vendor management process to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant transportation and distribution services.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Vendor Relationship Management and Performance Monitoring:
Develop and maintain strategic and tactical relationships with logistics vendors, monitor their performance against established targets, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Process Improvement and Implementation:
Define, design, and implement logistics processes and strategies, leading initiatives to improve efficiency and support key strategic goals.

Contract Negotiation and Compliance:
Lead contract negotiations with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and provide financial analysis support.

Project Leadership and Collaboration:
Lead multiple logistics projects, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and act as a Subject Matter Expert for supply chain initiatives and product launches.

Reporting, Analysis, and Problem Resolution:
Conduct sophisticated financial and operational analysis, prepare reports, resolve complex problems, and support the development of goals and budgets.

An experienced professional with advanced, interdisciplinary knowledge, resolving difficult and complex issues using broad professional concepts. Guides others, applying advanced principles and company practices. Leads moderate sized projects (or parts of larger projects) with strategic value. Operates autonomously with frequent senior leadership interaction.

Our Senior Logistics Vendor Management professionals earn between$96,000 - $144,000 USD Annual. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
