Position: Senior Logistics Specialist – International Programs
Overview: ITC Defense is hiring a Senior Logistics Specialist to support International Programs at the Joint Consolidation Point (JCP) in Mechanicsburg, PA. This role leads day-to-day logistics operations, supervises a small support team, and ensures accurate shipment preparation and delivery for U.S. government and international programs.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead, mentor, and supervise a 3-person Logistics Management Specialist (LMS) team
+ Oversee all contractor logistics activities at the Joint Consolidation Point (JCP)
+ Ensure shipments are prepared correctly, including:
+ Documentation and shipment packets
+ Material readiness and compliance
+ Marking, labeling, and shipping accuracy
+ Review and approve monthly contractor status reports
+ Coordinate daily and weekly meetings and conference calls with government and contractor teams
+ Support special projects and other logistics tasks assigned
+ Escort sensitive or mission-critical materials to final delivery locations when required
+ Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one
+ Master’s degree plus ten (10) years of relevant experience
+ Acceptable alternative: Bachelor’s degree plus 4 additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Master’s degree
+ In lieu of an advanced degree, additional relevant work experience may be substituted
+ Demonstrated experience in one or more of these fields:
+ Logistics or supply chain management
+ Foreign Military Sales (FMS)
+ Program or acquisition support
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
+ Background in transportation and shipping operations
+ Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
+ Experience supporting DoD or international programs
