This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless integration and management of logistics functions to achieve operational excellence and performance objectives. **Key Responsibilities:** + Develop, implement, and manage integrated logistics processes with a focus on Department of War projects and programs. + Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of logistics services, emphasizing planning, reliability, maintainability, and availability. + Conduct testing and evaluation of logistic support elements to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards. + Oversee supply chain management, including procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and transportation, with a focus on RMA. + Analyze logistics performance, including reliability and maintainability metrics, and generate reports to identify areas for improvement. + Implement best practices in logistics and supply chain management to optimize efficiency, reliability, availability, and reduce costs. + Ensure compliance with all relevant Department of War regulations, policies, and procedures. + Provide technical support and guidance to project teams related to logistics functions, particularly in RMA and testing and evaluation and configuration management. + Participate in the development of logistics plans, schedules, and budgets, emphasizing RMA principles. + Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for logistics operations, focusing on reliability and maintainability. + Maintain and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external partners, ensuring they meet Department of War standards. **Qualifications** **Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. + Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, specifically within the defense or aerospace environment. + Strong understanding of logistics processes, with a focus on planning, reliability, maintainability, availability, testing, and evaluation. + Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate complex logistics activities, particularly in a Department of War context. + Proficient in logistics software and tools, such as ERP systems, with an emphasis on RMA metrics and testing. + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, especially in the context of RMA. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
