About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Services Lead to support our Wealth & Investment Management Technology team. This person will support a Senior Leader within a technology organization and work as a strategic partner to deliver data-driven solutions that are long- term, large-scale, and which require understanding of organizational goals or priorities, and technology to develop executable strategies and plans with a strong focus on accuracy, automation, and repeatability. This person will be involved with the group’s budgeting, financial forecasting, strategic objectives as well as critical work related to compliance.
In this role, you will:
Work as an advisor to more experienced leadership to influence technology matters to develop programs that are effective and efficient for highly complex business and technical needs across one or more lines of business
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in depth evaluation across multiple lines of business or the enterprise
Deliver solutions that are long term, large scale, and which require understanding of organizational goals or priorities and technology to develop executable strategies and plans
Provide vision, direction, and expertise to more experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions related to technology matters that are large scale, cross functional, or companywide
Engage with the technology team and more experienced leaders to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business and for execution of operational processes
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education
5+ years of experience with budget, forecasting and capacity planning
5+ years of experience with executive-level facilitation
5+ years of experience with compiling and preparing executive summaries and presentations for management and senior leaders.
5+ years of experience partnering and engaging stakeholders
3+ years of data analysis visualization and reporting experience
Desired Qualifications:
Experience working in banking or the financial services industry
Experience using Jira and Confluence
Good project management, organization and prioritization skills
Ability to consult, build, and maintain solid working relationships in and outside of immediate department
A BS/BA degree or higher
