As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Enterprise Technology Data Protection & Recovery product line, you will be an essential member of an agile team dedicated to enhancing, building, and delivering trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role will involve promoting significant business impact through your skills and contributions, utilizing your deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to address a wide range of challenges across various technologies and applications.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceStrong familiarities with micro-service designs and proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life CycleAdvanced expertise in Java programming languageDeep technical knowledge of utilizing frameworks to deliver applications, and being able to dive deep into code implementationsSkilled in designing and developing applications with robust resiliency features, ensuring they can withstand and recover from failure, maintaining availability, and providing consistent performance under varying conditions.Proficient in integrating security measures within the software development lifecycle, including threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments. Implementing best practices to safeguard our applications against potential security threats and breaches.Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityProficient in one or more additional programming language(s)Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversightExperience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsHands-on experience with AWS technologies, awareness and understanding of other cloud vendor offerings
