As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Equities - Prime Financial Service, you are an integral part of Core Engineering and Architecture group which drives the modenisation of applications across the group. This group drives various engineering efforts aligned to data engineering, cloud migrations and adoption of AI4Tech within Prime Financial Services technology group. You would drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications.

Job responsibilities

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and proficient advanced experience in JavaHands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.Proficiency in Java and cloud technologies including AWS services.Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes, with deep expertise in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile).Ability to independently tackle design and functionality challenges with minimal oversight.Practical experience with cloud-native technologies.Background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsExperience in IaC like TerraformExpertise in software design and architecture.Experience with Python or JavaScript.
