Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on Software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceExpertise in cloud technologies, with a strong focus on AWS; experience with other platforms such as Azure or GCP.Extensive working knowledge and strong expertise with Snowflake data platform hosted on AWS.Expertise in designing scalable, robust, and maintainable software architectures that align with business and technical requirements.Lead architectural decision-making, ensuring best practices in system integration, modularity, and technology selection to support long-term product evolution.Design operational excellence solutions for multiple products within AMDP, focusing on risk and control, operational maintenance, cost optimization, and resiliency.Apply latest machine learning techniques (where possible) to architectural challenges, driving operational excellence through innovative, data-driven solutions.Drive stakeholder engagement and facilitate effective decision-making to align technical solutions with business objectives.Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityAdvanced in one or more programming language(s) including Python, Java, Terraform and morePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsAdvanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversightPractical cloud native experience Graduate degree or higher in engineering.
