About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Process Engineer within the COO AI Center of Excellence. This role focuses on defining and scaling the enterprise Observe‑to‑Agent (O2A) strategy, leveraging advanced observation, process intelligence, and agentic AI capabilities to uncover, assess, and enable high‑value transformation opportunities. The position plays a critical role in shaping the O2A operating model, guiding enterprise adoption of Agentic AI, and integrating workforce and process analytics to build scalable, repeatable solutions that enhance operational efficiency and long‑term business value.
In this role, you will:
O2A Strategy & Operating Model
Define enterprise strategy for O2A observation, optimization, and agent generation.
Build O2A operating model including governance, lifecycle stages, roles/responsibilities, and prioritization framework.
Determine scalable implementation pathways for persona coverage, behavioral insights, and continuous optimization loops.
Agentic AI Strategy
Define strategic roadmap for enterprise Agentic AI adoption (autonomous workflows, memory, planning, tool‑use architectures).
Lead governance and Responsible AI practices for agentic systems.
Drive advanced knowledge graph, ontology, and Neo4j‑based reasoning models to underpin Agentic AI.
Enterprise Workforce & Process Analytics Strategy
Define enterprise view for workforce analytics using O2A, SKAN, Celonis, behavioral modeling, and productivity insights.
Identify where to deploy SKAN vs. Celonis vs. O2A based on maturity, process type, and data availability.
Develop enterprise benchmarks, KPIs, and operating constructs for productivity, behavior analytics, and cognitive load mapping.
AI/Automation & Long‑Range Transformation Strategy
Partner with AI, IA, Data, Operations and Technology leaders to align multi‑year roadmap.
Develop business cases for large‑scale agent deployment derived from observed tasks.
Govern intake, prioritization, and sequencing across businesses and functions
Thought Leadership & Executive Influence
Represent O2A/Agentic Strategy in senior forums (COO, AI, Ops leadership).
Lead enterprise‑wide experimentation agenda, capability scaling, and innovation cycles.
Promote continuous discovery, measurement, and feedback loops.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Process Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
7+ years in transformation strategy, AI/Automation strategy, or enterprise process domains.
Prior experience building multi‑year roadmaps or operating models at enterprise scale.
Ability to design enterprise‑wide operating models, governance, and lifecycle frameworks.
Expertise in synthesizing behavioral, process, and task‑level analytics into strategy.
Strong AI fluency (LLMs, Agentic AI, knowledge graphs, ontology, autonomous systems).
Proven ability to influence senior executives and drive enterprise change.
Excellent communication, change‑management, and storytelling capabilities.
